How to sing the South African national anthem
After the embarrassing debacles of South African singers not knowing how to sing the South African national anthem, we decided to make a little video series to help people to learn not only how to pronounce and sing the Xhosa/Zulu and Sotho/Tswana verses, but also what the individual words mean.

I believe the reference is in regards to the non-religious sense of the word, as all religions and beliefs are part of the Creator’s Creation:
“those qualities regarded as forming the definitive or typical elements in the character of a person, nation, or group or in the thought and attitudes of a particular period.”

I am 63 and this is the first opportunity that I have had “full into my lap” to learn the national anthem (I am ashamed to say). Better late than never. Thank you so much for your easy-to-understand presentation. I am going to teach my husband now 🙂
